Operation

The TRUEBORER works by engaging the boltheads on its three adjustable slides in the counterbored holes of the soft top chuck jaws. The TRUEBORER will then resist the operation of the chuck so that the soft jaws may be bored under clamping pressure.

1. Set up top jaws on chuck base jaws to obtain bore in required position.
2. Turn the back plate on the TRUEBORER to position the jaw slides so the bolt heads can be inserted into the counterbored holes of the chuck jaws.
3. When in position continue to turn the back plate until the TRUEBORER is held tight.
4. Clamp up chuck, TRUEBORER will hold jaws in position against clamping pressure allowing boring or turning of jaws as required.
