This collet chuck takes the popular ER25 collets which each have a range of 1mm, thus eliminating the need fot both imperial & metric collets. It is possible to attain an accuracy of 0.0004” T.I.R. with these chucks, which is far more accurate than standard 3 jaw chucks.
Available in two models; one for direct mounting onto a Myford spindle nose (1.1/8 x 12 TPI) and one for flange mounting (68mm diameter x 3mm flange with 3 M8 screws on a 50mm p.c.d.) using a suitable backplate or faceplate.
