Arrand Morse Taper 1 Test Bar
Produced as precision reference gauges for aligning machine tools.
Protected lapped centres allow the bar to be used between centres as well as in morse taper spindle for alignment tests.
Manufactured from a very high grade steel, heat treated to 850-950 Vickers Diamondf Hardness (65RC).
Surface is superfinished to within 3 micro-inch C.L.A.
Each test bar is inspected for parallelism and concentricity to within 0.0001" (0.0025mm)
Tapers are within 0.00005" per1" (0.0013mm per 25mm) hard at large end.
